IDEA-AI Malaysia brings world-class AI and Data Science training to learners of all ages from school students to professionals. IDEA-AI Malaysia operates under the same ownership as IDEA-AI Australia. It shares the same vission, mission, values, and educational excellence as our Australian main office. This connection allows us to bring global expertise and deliver AI & Data Science programs of international standard, ensuring that learners in Malaysia benefit from the same quality training recognised across our global network.

MISSION

VISION

Our vision is to be a global leader in AI and Data Science education, shaping the future of technology and innovation.
Former AI and Data Science Professor with 20 years of experience as an academician at several universities. He is known for his groundbreaking research, innovative curriculum development, and visionary leadership. He previously advised and led curriculum development for IT programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, focusing on AI, Data Science, IoT, and Bioinformatics. He served as Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data and the Health Data Science Lab, leading significant advancements in education. He also plays key roles on the advisory boards of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute and the Digital Innovation Hub in Europe. He led a task force that established a major academic collaboration with Microsoft and Huawei Technologies to develop professional certification programs in Data Science, AI, and Big Data. This collaboration resulted in the integration of these professional modules into the Bachelor of IT program. He is now an Adjunct Professor at Multimedia University (Malaysia), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), and Brawijaya University (Indonesia).

Professor Dr. Richard Sinnott

Director of Melbourne eResearch Group, School of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, The University of Melbourne, Australia.
Professor Dr. Richard Sinnott is a renowned expert in Applied Computing Systems and the Director of the Melbourne eResearch Group at the University of Melbourne. He has led major projects in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and e-research worth over $400 million. Richard has a prolific academic background with over 450 publications and extensive teaching experience, having supervised over 1,000 Master's dissertations and numerous PhD students. His work aligns with IDEA-AI's mission to empower individuals with cutting-edge knowledge in AI and Data Science.

Professor Dr. Juan Manuel Corchado

Director of the BISITE (Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems and Educational Technology) Research Group, Department of Computer Science and Automation, University of Salamanca, Spain.
Juan Manuel Corchado is a Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Computer Science and Automation, University of Salamanca (USAL), Spain. He also serves as the Director of the BISITE Research Group at USAL. His work spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and IoT, aligning seamlessly with IDEA-AI’s mission to empower individuals with advanced skills in AI and Data Science and supporting our vision to lead globally in technology and innovation education. His expertise will greatly enhance IDEA-AI's advisory board in shaping the future of AI education.

Professor Emeritus Ir. Dr. Zainai Mohamed

Professor Emeritus Dr. Zainai Mohamed is a highly respected academic leader with extensive experience in higher education and strategic development. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a chairman of the Board of Directors at UTMSPACE Services Pvt Ltd. He has held prestigious roles, including Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), and Dean. A graduate of Cambridge University, Dr. Zainai played a key advisory role in establishing UTM’s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, providing strategic vision and leadership. His experience in leadership and strategy development at both national and international levels aligns seamlessly with IDEA-AI’s mission to empower individuals with AI and Data Science skills and its vision to be a global leader in education, innovation, and technology.

DR. MONA SALEH

Founder of DNA Downunder, Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Mona is a founder of DNA Downunder in Australia. She is also a genetic counsellor, educator, and researcher with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, education, and science communication. With a strong background in research, education, and stakeholder engagement, Dr. Saleh is committed to making science more accessible, engaging, and actionable for all audiences.

Associate Professor Dr. Hany Taher

Director of Big Data Analytics Centre

Associate Professor Dr. Hany Taher is a leading expert in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, currently serving as the Director of the Big Data Analytics Centre at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He has made significant contributions through his research, teaching, and leadership in the field of big data analytics, playing a key role in advancing data-driven decision-making and technology education. His expertise aligns perfectly with IDEA-AI’s mission to empower individuals with cutting-edge skills in AI and Data Science and supports our vision to be a global leader in shaping the future of technology and innovation in education.

Dr. Suhaimi Napis

Chief Executive Officer, Birunisoft PLT, Malaysia.
Dr. Suhaimi Napis is the Chief Executive Officer of Birunisoft PLT, Malaysia, and a co-founder of SIFULAN, Malaysia’s Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure Trust Framework. With a strong commitment to advancing education and innovation, Dr. Suhaimi has been instrumental in international initiatives such as eduGAIN and Asia Open Access, which promote global knowledge sharing and open science. As a Board Member of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) and an advisor to multiple high-level committees, including the Malaysian Ministry of Education and the ASEAN HPC Facilities Task Force, he leverages his expertise to drive the future of technology and data science education. His dedication to secure and accessible technology aligns with IDEA-AI's vision of becoming a global leader in AI and Data Science education, shaping the future of technology and innovation.
